This unique and singular story starts when our clients uncovered a hidden gem right at the heart of Príncipe Real, one of Lisbon’s most coveted and beautiful neighbourhoods. The building is located in Rua do Conde, in Lapa, in the heart of the city. It is a building from the end of the 19th century, which was highly degraded. It was composed by 4 floors above the ground plus 1 attic floor.The main goal, of the refurbishment project, was to improve the quality of natural light and ventilation inside the apartments, as well as create greater fluidity in spaces, emphasizing the special existing characteristics of this building. The project is located on Rua do Benformoso, next to Praça do Martim Moniz, in Lisbon, an area characterized by a frenetic and accelerated rhythm, as well as a multicultural environment.  It consists in a rehabilitation of an apartment at the top of a building, for a temporary housing unit. This typology is defined by a short and intense duration of stay, which offers an opportunity to explore different types of living experiences, different from everyday life. The always present concept behind the development of this residence was to create a whole well-being, family-driven space under the idea of the Four Elements. Earth, Water, Air and Fire. This idea is visible all throughout the project - in the plantation of aromatics, on the internal and external pools, on the large platforms from where the Tagus river and Almada can be seen, and also on the several fireplaces distributed through the levels. Located at the heart of Lisbon, the project for the Talkdesk Lisboa offices consists of a complete renovation of an apartment in Torres das Amoreiras.  The office is divided into two large, open-plan work spaces, with a lounge area containing the kitchen, a common space and break-out areas.
