Apartamento Louvre
Situated in the iconic Louvre Building, designed by the São Paulo architect João Artacho Jurado in the 1950s, we proposed the almost complete demolition of the existing masonry in the apartment, reorganizing the space, bringing openness, and adapting the program to contemporary dynamics. We aimed to pay homage to this symbolic building by using its colors in the project's composition.

Les Passerelles
Les Passerelles, an eco-district near Annecy, south-east France, is situated on the former paper-manufacturing industrial estate of Cran-Gevrier. These modern residential buildings feature DucoSlide sliding panels, boasting practicality and refined aesthetics.
Diversity of systems
Sliding panels (or sliding shutters) today have become an established feature in multiple, subsidised ownership and social housing construction. The new Les Passerelles eco-district is no exception to this rule, relying heavily on these products which are as high-tech as they are elegant.

With DucoWall, Duco offers a wide range of continuous louvre walls that not only give a façade an aesthetically pleasing look, but have also been designed with intensive, continuous ventilation in mind. They are therefore ideal for ventilative cooling. Ventilative cooling is a free form of ventilation. Used in combination with (architectural) external solar shading, it guarantees that the different rooms in a building will be cooled naturally during the warmer months, thanks to high flow rates of fresh outside air. Energy-guzzling air conditioning systems are therefore redundant.
