With DucoWall, Duco offers a wide range of continuous louvre walls that not only give a façade an aesthetically pleasing look, but have also been designed with intensive, continuous ventilation in mind. They are therefore ideal for ventilative cooling. Ventilative cooling is a free form of ventilation. Used in combination with (architectural) external solar shading, it guarantees that the different rooms in a building will be cooled naturally during the warmer months, thanks to high flow rates of fresh outside air. Energy-guzzling air conditioning systems are therefore redundant.
These continuous louvre walls, which can be supplied with or without insect screens, are made from aluminium and are available in four different types. They can be secured in advance to the aluminium support profile using Duco’s patented 'Turn-Click' system.
DucoWall Basic is an easy-to-install system with a special louvre blade form. This means that the blades can be applied in an 'S' and also a 'Z' form. DucoWall Basic is also perfect for projects where the louvre wall functions in the first instance as façade cladding.
In the case of the DucoWall Classic, the aluminium louvre blades are locked into place on plastic louvre blade holders. These louvre blade holders can be positioned separately in the support profile, enabling a perfect finish. The DucoWall Classic range comprises a wide selection of louvre blades, which means a custom solution can always be offered.
Buildings can also be equipped with the DucoWall Solid. This continuous louvre wall is made up of multiple, sleek, Z-shaped louvre blades and requires only a minimal support structure. It also offers the major added benefit of being vandal-proof!
The final variant in this range is the DucoWall Acoustic. As the name suggests, sound attenuation is a key characteristic of this product. The louvre blades are fitted with sound-attenuating, non-flammable mineral wool on the inside.
