L Residence Micro Apartment

As urban density continues to increase across Indonesia, compact apartments have become an increasingly important housing typology for young professionals. Rather than viewing limited floor area as a constraint, this project explores how thoughtful interior architecture can transform micro living into a comfortable and highly functional everyday experience. Designed by INSADA Integrated Design Team, these two show units, measuring 18 sqm and 22.5 sqm respectively, demonstrate how intelligent planning, multifunctional furniture, and restrained materiality can maximize the potential of compact residential spaces without compromising comfort or quality of life. The first unit is an 18 sqm studio apartment conceived around the idea of Urban M... More

Family Apartment with an Artistic Mood

The project by AIYA Bureau explores how colour and material can structure spatial experience. Rather than relying on decorative layering, the interior is conceived as a sequence of calibrated atmospheres, where deep plum, terracotta, and muted gold tones define perception, depth, and rhythm. Furniture, surfaces, and bespoke elements are integrated into this system, forming a cohesive environment shaped by proportion, tactility, and controlled contrast. Caption The layout follows a clear logic of rhythm and privacy, designed for a family with two children. At its centre lies an open-plan living and kitchen area, a fluid space for gathering, conversation, and calm. The master suite, located nearby, offers a private refuge with a walk-in... More

Chelsea Townhouse

A London home nestles neatly between two rows of terraces on a tight urban site within a historic conservation area. The old house required demolition in its entirety leaving just the party walls either side. The stucco façade was then faithfully rebuilt and enhanced in harmony with the street with the addition of a new porch. The site is a long narrow slot which becomes larger towards the middle of the plan. The proposal was to create a modern, light and efficient home, highly crafted, with an external courtyard at its centre.  Peter Cook Peter Cook Peter Cook Peter Cook Peter Cook Peter Cook Peter Cook To minimise the transition between inside and out, the living space connects directly to t... Apulia and Sicily meet in Florence

The apartment was presented with a typical layout of 70’s in which it was built, with a long corridor and the various rooms that overlooked. Darragh Hehir Darragh Hehir We have broken this rigid setting going to create fluid and bright spaces; the French oak parquet furnishes the entire apartment while brushstrokes of color and wallpaper with warm tones, go to characterize the different scenery. The Seafront Apartment

In a dense city like Singapore, apartments that are privy to good views are highly treasured. As such, the gorgeous sea view that this apartment in East Coast offers is something that the homeowner loves. The interior design brief may have been simple – to create a resort-themed home to match the panoramic view – but there is nothing ordinary about this space. The completed space bears no traces of the typical Balinese or rustic look. With its crisp colours and contemporary furnishings, the apartment is a swanky seafront abode. On the ceiling in the living room is a “fresco” of sorts, consisting of wall coverings depicting dramatic tropical foliage. A palette of natural finishes gives this home a breezy feel. These... More

13Chenar Residential

The 13Chenar residential project referred to us when the construction process was suspended due to the client dissatisfaction. The building was designed by bubble deck system which liberates the interior from structural elements and moved them toward the edges of slabs. They just finished the fourth slab when they asked us to revise their project. We refused to design just a simple facade and proposed a serious set of changes both in architecture and facade. Because of the imposed structural system limitation in making hollows, we decided to focus on the edges of the building and define a hierarchy from outside in. In order to do so, we designed all the units requirements in the space between the core and the shear walls and considered the l... More

Small Apartment Renovation

This 88 square meter Small-Apartment Renovation carried out in the Flemish region of Belgium is an excellent example of contemporary modernism. The tall ceilings, all-white backdrop and neutral accents provide a fine blend of classy sophistication and style. The curated furniture and decor are incredibly trendy, while the open floor plan provides excellent circulation. Bold artwork has been selected to accentuate the austere white ambiance and an intimate terrace carries the same vibe outdoors. More

A Place of Elegant Comfort

We designed the apartment with a special sense of love for the family living in it – it was their openness, hospitality and unwavering trust that gave meaning to this project and allowed us to create a space that is in tune with their desires.   In furnishing the previous apartment, the clients swore by a minimalism in white, so we tried to hang onto this softness and freshness as a guiding stylistic principle as we designed the new home, also enhancing the details by means ofpleasant contrasts, soft colours and materials of various textures. By removing the partition wall, we opened up the main horizontal feature from the entrance to the bedroom, thus allowing light to cascade through the entire area. The bedroom, meanwhile,... More
