Futuristic Office Building in Barcelona

Located in one of the  Barcelona’s districts, this office building exemplifies contemporary architectural innovation while responding sensitively to its historic surroundings. Its height and massing respect the scale of the neighborhood, creating a dialogue between the district’s traditional character and modern interventions. The building establishes a visual identity distinct from the older structures, yet integrates seamlessly with nearby contemporary architecture. An underground parking facility enhances functionality by keeping sidewalks clear, maintaining public space, and improving accessibility for employees and visitors. Pasadena

Some homes are defined by a single dramatic gesture, Pasadena is defined by the richness of everyday life. Set within a secluded hillside estate in Los Angeles, California, the custom home feels both generous in size, and easy to live in, with spaces for everything from quiet family evenings, to hosting on a grand scale. A minimalist modern exterior gives way to an expansive interior shaped by natural light, extensive glazing, and open living spaces. Responding to fire department access requirements, the main and upper levels are organized as two separate wings that remain connected on the lower level. Between them, the central pool terrace becomes a focal point for everyday living, with the kitchen, living, and dining areas opening toward... More

Bajaj Institute of Technology - A social endeavour

The BIT Wardha academic block was a result of a social endeavour spearheaded by the Shiksha Mandal organisation. Initiated at a time when similar educational institutes were being pulled down due to a lack of fresh enrollment, the client, a century-old organisation based in Wardha, advocated for quality and affordable education in India. They suggested that a unique style of educational propagation and architectural style would help dictate their vision of an engineering college for a small town like Wardha.  Ashish Bhonde & Ramprasad Akkisetti Ashish Bhonde & Ramprasad Akkisetti Ashish Bhonde & Ramprasad Akkisetti Thus, the Bajaj Institute of Technology came into being.  Modernity meets Tradition The... G2 House

The house is designed as a two-level volume that faces the lagoon and beach front of the condominium. The first level, containing the entrance, parking, and private bedroom area, is visually below the boardwalk level and is conceived as a solid concrete base that emerges from the ground. The second level, made up of the social core and master bedroom area, in contrast, is devised as a light element that rests on its base and opens towards the landscape and horizon. Juan Solano Juan Solano Juan Solano The design of the house solves an ambitious 8-bedroom program by concentrating its horizontal connections at the lot´s core and arranging its private and social spaces towards the exterior. The Cloud Catcher

The ‘Meet and Greet” building of Kavya Resort and Spa is sculpted to witness the drama of passing clouds. Placed in the highest resort in Nagarkot, Nepal, the site experiences a dynamic phenomenon – a moment of clear visibility suddenly changing into total obscurity.  Siddhartha Maharjan + MAP Siddhartha Maharjan + MAP While the two rock-shaped volumes are oriented to capture views of Himalaya and the valley below, their separation creates the passage for the clouds – sometimes bringing the fog and moisture deep inside the building. Benedict Canyon 2023

It's always fun to see the evolution of our projects, as they change hands with new ownership. Our original client for Benedict Canyon was from the sports world, and he wanted an open-plan house for entertaining, that would also include a photography studio and gallery space for displaying his large scale artworks by him. Seven years later, in new hands, the original bones are still in place, the landscape is more mature, and the rooms have been repurposed to suit the needs of the new owners. Glen Harbor Penthouse

From the project inception, the goal of this penthouse design was to blend functionality and program with a unique and edgy architectural aesthetic, all while respecting and highlighting the home’s unequaled panoramic views overlooking Hempstead Harbor.  Working within the bounds of the fixed floor plan in the new construction condominium building, the design process first focused on optimizing elements of circulation, access, and visual sightlines, while minimizing any major modifications to wall or framing locations. Mark Stumer  The plan was modified only to relocate the bedroom doors on either end of the main corridor, a simple move with transformative value to the space – in place of bedroom doors as the foc... Ksaraah

Nestled in lush coconut and areca tree plantations with the mighty Savandurga Hill – one of the largest monolith hills in Asia – framing its backdrop, Ksaraah is a weekend retreat in rural Bengaluru, India, that reimagines living in the embrace of nature. It aims to foster a direct connection with the outdoors, sans boundaries, while still sheltering its inhabitants – a creative professional and her family. Caption The primary design challenge was to create a built environment that would belong within its context – one that would blend, harmonise, and inspire, rather than shock and dominate. The design intervention, therefore, ensures minimum deviation from the existing landscape, while providing a space with l... More
