Building modifications and interior design first consisted in the effective use of the existing living room. Gradually, however, the assignment expanded to other areas. The division of the social part created a place for a new living room and bedroom. The layout of the living room is new, the sofa is moved to the corner and improves the functionality of the entire space, as well as is better connected to the dining room and kitchen. Caption Caption Above the sofa is a set of shelves with cabinets and next to it a fireplace insert. Opposite is a chest of drawers with a shelf and a place for a TV. The furniture in the dining room continues in the same spirit as in the living room, which visually connects the space - a white chest o... More

FOG is about the purity of the contemporary interior, about style and eternity, about trend and comfort. A project in which we wanted to try something new, enjoying simplicity and creating harmony, working with materials and light. Caption Caption Minimalism, which stands out with modern details, natural materials – gives the apartment a general atmosphere. FOG is exactly the case when we poetize comfort, using not words but solutions and practicality. Caption Caption From the very entrance to the apartment, we are immersed in the basic concept. The common space for several functional zones was created by the feeling of “fresh air” and the opportunity to “breathe freely”. Several shades of... More

Bundy Drive

Simon Berlyn   Design for Resort Style Living Our three-acre Bundy Drive project, completed in collaboration with Ramtin Ray Nosrati at Huntington Estates Properties, is certainly brimming with entertainment and the desirable amenities that bring resort living home. All this requires a large house, so our design goal, once again, is to maintain a human connection despite a broad canvas. We create visual connections between multiple levels, and even across large volumes, so people won’t find themselves cut off in a dark hallway. Simon Berlyn Simon Berlyn By creating view corridors, we assure that when you come around a corner there is something to draw you in, always a window with a view, a piece of art o... More

Narrow living room

The task was to solve a narrow and also passable living room in an apartment for a family of three. Part of the apartment has already been reconstructed and therefore I based the design of the living room on the material and color solution of the already reconstructed part. The goal was not only to solve its arrangement and enough storage space, but also to optically expand it. When designing, it was also very important to take into account the fact that residents like to play an x-box, for which they need enough space. More

Ryokan Modern

Nestled within the lush tropical gardens in the Garden City, the 3,500 sqft residence boasts the elements of a Japanese ryokan. For the homeowners who are passionate admirers of the Japanese culture, the brief was precise at best – to create a modern ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) with a Scandinavian touch. The result is a cohesive space that is complimented by a fluid motion of poetic encounters, each defined by the bespoke feature walls that were skilfully handcrafted by sister company IN-EXPAT. Every feature in this apartment is as meticulous in its detailing as its functions. More

The Seafront Apartment

In a dense city like Singapore, apartments that are privy to good views are highly treasured. As such, the gorgeous sea view that this apartment in East Coast offers is something that the homeowner loves. The interior design brief may have been simple – to create a resort-themed home to match the panoramic view – but there is nothing ordinary about this space. The completed space bears no traces of the typical Balinese or rustic look. With its crisp colours and contemporary furnishings, the apartment is a swanky seafront abode. On the ceiling in the living room is a “fresco” of sorts, consisting of wall coverings depicting dramatic tropical foliage. A palette of natural finishes gives this home a breezy feel. These... More

This residential dwelling boasts a sophisticated interior scheme with an edgy, industrial feel that creates an elegant, contemporary apartment. Bukit Panjang Apartment

While different in personalities, the two brothers share a preference for a minimalist home with distinct elements. For the design of this 400m2 5-room resale apartment in Singapore, we proposed the use of the colour black as a thematic element given its toned-down masculine and modern qualities. The colour is strategically balanced with other contrasting blocks of colour such as blues and browns to break up the otherwise claustrophobic effect, creating spatial highlights against the overall neutral backdrop. Minimalist yet sensuous, the design also addresses the homeowners’ storage needs and aesthetic tastes without feeling too confined. For one of the brothers who is passionate about cooking, additional storage spaces were created t... More
