Little Venice House

Nestled in the heart of Westminster, within the picturesque district of Little Venice, this house sits among canals and heritage façades that preserve the charm of early twentieth-century London. Built around 1900, it belongs to an architectural era when the city was evolving rapidly, yet retained the grace of its Victorian and Edwardian roots. Today, the building stands as part of London’s living history — its renovation is a gesture of respect for the past, merging the authenticity of an old structure with the comfort and clarity of contemporary life. From the very first meeting, the designer and the client discovered a shared sense of humour, aligned values, and a similar understanding of aesthetics. This synergy beca... More

Sancroft Building

In the heart of London's lively Paternoster Square, the Sancroft Building is a perfect example of how old-world charm and modern design can come together beautifully. This charming venue was brought to life through a creative partnership between architects at Woods Bagot and Amron Architectural,  Banker Wire's representative in the UK. Banker Wire The interior design of the Sancroft Building's bar area is a masterclass in understated drama. At first glance, the space feels calm and composed, with a palette of soft neutrals and clean lines. But then your eyes are drawn upward—to the ceiling feature wrapped in decorative wire mesh that seems to float above the bar like a halo. Banker Wire The Banker IPZ-56 woven wire me... More

Cascade House

This project is the complete remodel of a mid-century modern home that is set into a hillside on a beautiful, private four-acre property in Villanova, Pennsylvania. At the outset of the project, the team observed that the existing interior layout was maze-like and spaces were dark and did not engage the home's unique setting in the landscape. Consequently, the desire to bring nature and light inside the home became a design driver for the project, and all decisions were considered as they related to daylight, views, and the ability to experience the property beyond.   Having established daylighting and views as a goal, the team decided to reorient the layout of the spaces toward the hillside, and eliminate many of the small, dark and... Curving Modern

The most striking feature of this home are the razor-edge roof profiles and the fact that those roofs swoop both vertically and horizontally. It is really an evolution of modern design. It uses all of the typical architectural rules of modern home design and takes it to the next level. JMAD JMAD JMAD JMAD JMAD JMAD The roof forms serve functions on the exterior. They overhang to provide shade during the warmer months and then create a really unique transition from the single story portion of the home to the second story. Plus, they take form in the great room with a curved ceiling form above that transitions up to the second floor, creating a timeless architectural element.  JMAD JMAD JMAD... More

TURNIEJOWA APARTMENT

‘The philosophy of our architectural firm is to design timeless architecture and interiors that are relevant at any time, even in a decade or two, that are forward-looking and therefore always valuable. Our mission is to bring beauty, comfort and harmony to life.’ JABRAARCHITECTS JABRAARCHITECTS Creating this interior anew was not easy. On a surface area of 110m2, we had to isolate, in addition to the living room, kitchen and dining room, three children's rooms, a bedroom, an office, a dressing room and two bathrooms, an entrance hall, wardrobes and communication. For this, the design had to be expressive, maximally functional and timeless. The demolition of the walls covered the entire existing room layout, which made... More

Hillside Modern

Modern forms create a striking visual against the rural landscape in our Hillside Modern. A key feature? It is built into the hillside, so from a front entry perspective, it is subdued or almost hidden.  JMAD JMAD JMAD JMAD The back is revealed as a stately, two-level space with a walkout basement overlooking a scenic wetland area. This creates spaces for our clients to host parties and have guests over.  JMAD JMAD JMAD JMAD We designed water features throughout for visual aesthetics – but audible comfort as well. So, if you’re working in your kitchen, you can open the window and hear the sound of water. JMAD JMAD JMAD JMAD The pool is elevated at main leve... More

Modern on the Prairie

We named this home Modern on the Prairie. Certainly, Pa Ingalls didn’t design this one. We designed it in a Modern architectural spacial design by using vertical and horizontal planes to create the spaces. No post and beams or headers. Its flat roof helps further expresses the planes. There -are- some classical elements to it: it’s symmetrical and the forms create the space vs random  arrangements made in some modern architecture.  Spacecrafting Photography Spacecrafting Photography Spacecrafting Photography Spacecrafting Photography Spacecrafting Photography Our Modern on the Prairie has the feel of a classical home with how the forms were arranged but is oh, so modern. We also designed the f... More

Red Side Penthouse

The clients, a young couple with two children, were meticulous in selecting their apartment. They desired a top-floor location with high ceilings, abundant natural light, and direct terrace access. Noting their love for hosting, the space needed to accommodate outdoor barbecues. Nino Zvarkovskaya, the project's designer, highlights the essential requirement for a comfortable private area, encompassing a spacious master bedroom with an en-suite wardrobe, a home office, and two children's rooms, all situated to the left of the grand entrance hall, while a breezy, double-height public space lies to the right.
