CC Residence

Have spent 9 years in Canada, the owner wanted to search for a natural environment for his wife and their two kids and immediately fell in love with this place. Located in Daan District, a very quiet residential area with many schools.  Suiyu Studio Looking out from the ground floor is a garden and the ceiling of the ground floor and the basement are both 3.6 meters high, which are a privilege to have in Taipei. We define our style as decorative minimalist. The design process is about adding layers and layers but paring back to the minimum at the same time, to create simplicity and achieve a sense of harmony. Suiyu Studio We tried to mix materials, colors and textures, such as wood and white beams, antique limestone fl... More

Tenement at Thaltej

About the project, the architect created a clean interior, contemporary furnishing details, natural materials with a combination of ready and custom furniture. This residential project “Tenement at Thaltej” is a mixture of modernism where, we are serving spacious rooms with minimum furniture and clear details - to give a minimal design look. Entering through a cozy verandah to an open plan of living, dining, and kitchen. The overall neutral-tone palette gives the house a homely feel, and the pop of choiceful colors is like a cherry on the cake - giving it the right balance of artsy and homey. SahajSmrutiStudio The front garden is basically an extension of the living room. With a beautiful sitting and a few potted plants... More

Narrow living room

The task was to solve a narrow and also passable living room in an apartment for a family of three. Part of the apartment has already been reconstructed and therefore I based the design of the living room on the material and color solution of the already reconstructed part. The goal was not only to solve its arrangement and enough storage space, but also to optically expand it. When designing, it was also very important to take into account the fact that residents like to play an x-box, for which they need enough space. More

Ryokan Modern

Nestled within the lush tropical gardens in the Garden City, the 3,500 sqft residence boasts the elements of a Japanese ryokan. For the homeowners who are passionate admirers of the Japanese culture, the brief was precise at best – to create a modern ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) with a Scandinavian touch. The result is a cohesive space that is complimented by a fluid motion of poetic encounters, each defined by the bespoke feature walls that were skilfully handcrafted by sister company IN-EXPAT. Every feature in this apartment is as meticulous in its detailing as its functions. More

The Seafront Apartment

In a dense city like Singapore, apartments that are privy to good views are highly treasured. As such, the gorgeous sea view that this apartment in East Coast offers is something that the homeowner loves. The interior design brief may have been simple – to create a resort-themed home to match the panoramic view – but there is nothing ordinary about this space. The completed space bears no traces of the typical Balinese or rustic look. With its crisp colours and contemporary furnishings, the apartment is a swanky seafront abode. On the ceiling in the living room is a “fresco” of sorts, consisting of wall coverings depicting dramatic tropical foliage. A palette of natural finishes gives this home a breezy feel. These... More

Skysuites @ Anson Condominium

This residential dwelling boasts a sophisticated interior scheme with an edgy, industrial feel that creates an elegant, contemporary apartment. The otherwise monotonous dark tones are broken apart by the bold addition of contrasting furniture and decor pieces that pop against the moodier installations. Overall, the variety of shadows, textures and contrast really creates depth and makes the space pop. More

Bukit Panjang Apartment

While different in personalities, the two brothers share a preference for a minimalist home with distinct elements. For the design of this 400m2 5-room resale apartment in Singapore, we proposed the use of the colour black as a thematic element given its toned-down masculine and modern qualities. The colour is strategically balanced with other contrasting blocks of colour such as blues and browns to break up the otherwise claustrophobic effect, creating spatial highlights against the overall neutral backdrop. Minimalist yet sensuous, the design also addresses the homeowners’ storage needs and aesthetic tastes without feeling too confined. For one of the brothers who is passionate about cooking, additional storage spaces were created t... More

Modern Villa Design

The underlying modern style modern villa design in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is expressed in the geometrical shapes and minimal embellishment. There have been some influences of other styles, mixing of rich fabrics, natural materials, and subtle pops of color to break the dullness of the neutral palettes and to add charm and personality to this welcoming home. This multi-family villa is functional, yet it allows residents to enjoy the outdoors within the privacy of the villa.  More
