The Farmanieh Club, a multi-purpose complex featuring wedding halls and sports facilities, was established in the early 2000s. For decades, it stood as a prominent landmark within the Farmanieh neighborhood. Over time, however, its exterior became weathered, leaving behind a static facade that functioned as a silent echo of the past. In Holargos, Athens, we were commissioned to transform a compact 43sqm apartment in a 2004 building into a serene, contemporary home. With no architectural elements worth retaining, the project became a full redesign centred around the concept of affordable luxury, as envisioned by the owner.  The project involves the full refurbishment and extension of an agricultural building – a former sheepfold that has already been converted into a dwelling. The programme also includes a sheep shelter and a garden shed. Guillaume Jouet The aim is to turn the existing building into a comfortable family home with five bedrooms. The main living areas are located on the ground floor, while all but one of the bedrooms are arranged on the upper level. The Renovation is a complete exterior & interior renovation of a 1970’s residence of a home originally designed by Leonard R. Spangenberg, Jr. & Associates, (Architects of Plaza Tower in New Orleans) located in the lakeview area of New Orleans. When the owners purchased the house (prior to the renovation) it hadn’t been updated at all.  There was plush carpet in almost every room, including the kitchen.  There was a sun-bleached pattern on the carpet of the folds in the curtains covering the glass sliders to the back yard.  It needed a refresh, but the proportions of the exterior and the “bones” of much of main lofted space of the interior were still great and worth preserving. Elsternwick House is a calm and contemporary family home nestled within a suburb known for its old-world charm. Surrounded by Victorian, Edwardian, and Californian Bungalows, the project sought to honour the modest character of the existing single-fronted cottage while introducing a sensitive, modern addition that supports the needs of a close-knit family. In this project, we have breathed new life into a family-inherited penthouse in Barcelona, redesigning every space to meet the present and future needs of a young couple starting a new chapter as parents. This major renovation covers two distinct floors: the main floor, where daily living takes place, and the upper floor, which has been transformed into an exceptional rooftop area with a private pool and leisure zone. Once a thriving coal mining town with 20,000 residents in the 1960s-80s, it has transformed into a quiet village of 3,000 following mine closures in the 1990s. Local blacksmith shops, once vital community centers crafting daily tools, remained abandoned for over 20 years.
