We were the winners of the Competition for the Design and Construction of the Sports Complex of the Al Talaba University Club in Baghdad. At the request of The Deportivo Municipal Football Club, we have studied the possibility of expanding the capacity and modernising the facilities of Ivan Moreno Elias stadium in Lima (Peru) in order to be able to host the Libertadores Cup and the Sudamericana Cup. The stadium opened in 2002 and has recently remodelled in 2013 when the team ascended to the First Division of the Peruvian League. The current capacity of 13, 000 spectators (without seats) isn´t enough to host any international event it is necessary. Stadium + see-sighting located on top of the city with an asymmetrical shape so as to allow spectators to simultaneously contemplate the match and the panoramic views of the city. We have designed with 2 enclosure options: metallic or ETFE. The new stadium is located close proximity to the ancient city of Babylon (Cradle of Civilization). A modern sports building according to the present times (FIFA approval) which in turn is inspired by the iconography of ancestral place. Situated within a sports complex of 225 ha, containing besides the stadium, 2 training fields, one with a running track, a covered grandstand common to both fields, a four-star hotel and parking areas for the general public (home and away), and for the rest of the public (Authorities, players, VIP, VVIP and thoughts). In the city limits of Baghdad, this sports complex is built, with similar characteristics to Babil´s complex, which contains a large stadium, two soccer practice fields and athletic with common stands and a hotel that serves the whole. Although similar to the stage of Babil geometry, its appearance is very different as so are the cities of each. The Olympic Committee wants to upgrade it, to be the main venue of the Mediterranean Games.   It is necessary to demolish the low stands that have very poor visibility and build a new stand with the correct inclination. Also should build exterior stairs to evacuate the public as required by international standards. New and modern facilities for teams area, VIP public and authorities area. On the occasion of the celebration in Tripoli of the Soccer African Cup, Under 20 is decided by the Olympic Committee rehabilitation of the current River Stadium. This is an old converted velodrome in training camp for the national soccer team. In order to host an international competition is necessary to modernize the entire facility, demolish part of the stands to enlarge the field and meet regulatory dimensions, remove the current deck and build a new one covering of all viewers besides expanding Tribune authorities. Aesthetically is a very unique stadium for its original geometry, highlighted by the new multicolour cover and undulating dunes inspired by the Sahara desert. More
