Abrisham Villa
Designed during the Covid-19 pandemic, Abrisham Villa emerged from a period when domestic life was being fundamentally redefined. Located in the mountainous landscape of Shandiz near Mashhad, Iran, the project was commissioned for a multi-generational family seeking a living environment that could accommodate both collective life and individual independence.

Fun Haus
Fun Haus seeks to push preconceptions of space per person on a small 117m2 urban site in Inner City Sydney. The primary dwelling is constructed behind the existing cottage frontage and a secondary detached dwelling sits along the rear lane. Separation between the dwellings offers flexibility in household permutations, with a total of 6 people being able to reside on the site. The maximised central courtyard was important to provide both dwellings with access to light, ventilation and landscape outlooks. In South Pasadena, California, this residential project by Medium Plenty offers a modern-day communal retreat that accommodates a multi-generational family.

The concept is a redesign of an existing 90+-year-old single-family home and a complete interior renovation alongside transforming the previously existing garage into a new dwelling unit. The additional living space provides independent living quarters for the client’s mother, only a few steps away from the main house.

In a quiet residential area of Seochon, Seoul, the Ogindan Dandan House by SML sits at the edge of a mountain ridge and prominently above a busy road, showcasing the home's stature from its east, west, and south elevations.
