Bylis Museum
The museum and visitor centre for the Bylis archaeological site in southern Albania is the result of a collaboration between Studio Lauria, Abkons and Archi.Media. The project interprets the Illyrian archaeological landscape as a unified system in which ruins, topography, vegetation and new visitor facilities work together to tell the story of the site.
The building unfolds across several levels along a hillside of olive trees and broom, following the slopes rather than imposing an alien form. The volumes break down into smaller elements, the roofs become shading devices, and terraces create viewpoints over the archaeological site and the wider landscape. Historical Oberamteistraße Museum, New Building
The historic row of houses at Oberamteistraße 28–32, together with the surviving basement of the ‘Stone House’ that once occupied no. 34 before its demolition in 1972, forms one of Reutlingen’s oldest surviving groups of buildings. Dating back to the 13th century, when the city was founded, the row reflects the development of building and living culture over the centuries in southern Germany.

1. CONCEPTUAL PREMISE – “THE AXIS OF LEGACY”A longitudinal axis of water–reflection is proposed, which organizes the access, generates a ceremonial sequence between the city and the museum, and symbolizes the formative flow of the Academy (from the past to the present and to the future). The museum is articulated around this axis: front access/reception, exhibition halls and trophies next to the canal; the multipurpose room (SUM), auditorium, and services at the back; cafeteria/store with terrace.

The architectural order is taken from the unique nappe structure of Longmen Mountain. The Nuhad Es-Said Pavilion for Culture, an extension to the National Museum of Beirut, is a space dedicated to creative artistry, the dialogue between art and culture, as well as the importance of remembrance. Its mission is to celebrate and disseminate Lebanon's cultural wealth through innovative programs, bold exhibitions, and strong community involvement. The project was made possible thanks to the National Heritage Foundation. Since the end of the Civil War, this foundation has been integral to the renovation and preservation of the National Museum. This deep connection with the museum enabled the foundation to design the pavilion project in partnership with the Es-Said family.

The extension project of the Fondation Maeght enlarges the exhibition spaces by 580 m², respecting the original architecture of Josep Lluís. Sert. A nearly invisible intervention at first glance, which reveals itself as visitors progress along the journey. “Oyane-San” - Shikoku Mura Entrance
On the northern tip of Shikoku Island surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea is Mt. Yashima, a peninsula with historical significance for Japan. This scenic locale hosts Shikoku Mura, a leading open-air architectural museum dedicated to preserving and showcasing traditional houses from the Shikoku region. Our challenge was to redesign its entrance, transforming it into a new focal point complete with information spaces, ticketing, restrooms, and a shop—all while symbolizing renewal.
