This Pharmacy project is located near one of the most important markets in the city of Valencia, the Algirós Market. The corner store provides a large outdoor space that allows to communicate and give visibility to the Pharmacy thanks to its multiple shop windows. The entire facade is covered with porcelain tile with the detail of the wooden palillería that runs along the entire upper space of the facade, thus dressing the signage of Farmacia Algirós. For this project of integral reform of Pharmacy we have opted to maximize the characteristics of the premises, providing an exclusive design and 100% adapted to the needs of the client. Germán Cabo Germán Cabo The more than 127 m2 of space, originally were two separate premises between pharmacy and warehouse. After the reform we have joined both premises and gained much more retail space. The L-shape of the entire plant was a challenge for the team of architects in charge of the project, mainly because of the distribution approach. UNE Pharmacy is characterized for being a daring and innovative pharmacy. From Destudio we have tried to design a warm and comfortable space for the visitor, which inspires confidence and closeness to the patient. For this we have opted for open, diaphanous spaces, with plenty of natural light and few barriers. The materials used throughout this Pharmacy project have been mainly glass and black lacquered iron, combined with wood and exposed concrete. 164 m2 for a space that transmits purity, cleanliness and harmony. For this project the distribution of the Pharmacy has been maintained, changing only the coatings and lighting, with the aim of achieving a more modern and harmonious image. The conventional run counter has been changed to individual counters. With this, it is possible to create two focuses of attention to the public in the sales area, emphasizing personalized attention and closeness with the client. Finally, the facade of the Pharmacy has been renewed betting on a marble imitation porcelain and marking the gaps. For this Pharmacy project it has opted for a complete reform, creating an attractive and easily distinguishable image on the facade of the premises. Its two openings to two streets make the premises charge more spaciousness and a more welcoming feeling. Inside it has risked with a diaphanous space and comfortable to travel by the client, since at first glance you can see all the sections of the Pharmacy. In addition, it has independent counters to favor personalized customer service. One of these counters is indicated for nutrition and dietary services, increasingly demanded by society. Not only does Rosha pharmacy provide people with these conditions considering the obvious space separation, but it also makes the opportunity to discover spaces and wander around meaning Rosha includes different spaces rather than the ones which exist in all other drugstores, adding more spatial and functional attraction. The conditions of the enclosure where the pharmacy was going to be implanted were the main requirement for its design since it was a 1940’s building, characteristic of the historical center of the neighborhood of Benicalap. The main premise was to create a spacious and bright pharmacy that would transmit amplitude and comfort but maintaining the original materiality of the building such as the solid brick pillars, the masonry load wall the wooden beams and ceramic.When designing the furniture for product exhibition, it was decided to use black lacquered iron and white and wood tones. Medly Pharmacy is a new neighborhood pharmacy in Brooklyn, owned by Marg and Sahaj Patel and designed by Sergio Mannino Studio.   Retailers have begun to understand the necessity of transforming businesses into every-channel retail platforms, where online and physical stores work as one, not needing to compete with each other. The subtext of the design approach for Careland Pharmacy is the constant juxtaposition of ideas. In order to underline the clinical quality of the pharmacy, the shelves are in high gloss and sharp. The soft and sensual curve created by the 70 linear feet of the undulating shelves provide warmth and playfulness. The bright green floor, made of a pattern of band-aids hand drawn by Sergio Mannino with his typical sketching style bring warmth by introducing humor and a casual friendliness.   Similar juxtapositions are found in the visual identity and the communications.
