The facade of the Altzaga School, in Leioa, was restored with our Paper texture in black.This restoration project aimed to respond to the detachment problems present on the existing facades along the ground floor. The Casa del Deporte y Frontón Bizkaia, also known as the Frontón de Miribilla is a professional pelota court located in the Miribilla neighbourhood of Bilbao. It was inaugurated in 2011 and with its 3,000 seats it is the largest pelota court in Spain.The need to restore its facade arose after some parts fell to the ground. After several analyses, it was determined that we needed to replace all the parts of the façade and the fastening system installed. THE CHALLENGEThe challenge that was presented to the team at Taller SAU was the development of a facade with vertical slats joining the frameworks and adapted to the existing distance between windows.SOLUTIONThe solution was to install large picture windows from wall to wall, and the slats were installed using a tubular profile, placed in front of it to filter out the light.Thus the solution in this project consisted of a vertical cladding solution with a recast 20-mm joint combined with the vertical slat system. The Santa María de la Paz Reception Centre opened its doors in 1981 with the mission of providing shelter and all-round care to the homeless. At present, and within the works to replace its facilities, a Reception-Residence Centre has been built with capacity for 110 people. The Viladecans centre is one of the three new The Style Outlets in Europe. In addition to clothing and footwear brands, it has a restaurant area and a natural environment.These are curved pieces forming circular benches, which have served as islands to combine elements inside. Water dispensers have been combined with vegetation, giving the whole unit a pleasant and harmonious appearance for the user.These benches have been installed in the shopping area and are made of precast polymer concrete pieces, specially designed for the project, creating comfortable white benches with lower LED lighting. ULMA has designed and manufactured a custom piece for the restoration of the emblematic Tempo building.ULMA Architectural Solutions has created a prefabricated special piece for the structural cantilever balcony of the emblematic Tempo building in Valladolid. The main avenue in the Italian city of Bari, capital of the Puglia region, has been immersed in restoration works. ULMA Architectural Solutions has supplied channels with high hydraulic capacity for rainwater drainage along the entire avenue (800m). Two systems have been chosen: the EUROSELF system and the U system, both with single-slot grating in 30/10 galvanised steel, calibrated for fast, perfect alignment. MultiV system channels with single-slot grating have been installed in the area around the hospital.The Orleans regional hospital located 10 km from the centre of Orleans, it has been a great investment for the population of the Centre-Loire Valley region, as it was designed to be the first high environmental quality regional hospital. ULMA Architectural Solutions participated in this project by installing one of its drainage systems in the area around the hospital.
