The Native Hostel, Bar & Kitchen is a boutique hostel, bar, cafe, and event space designed for the epicurean traveller and locals alike. It is nestled in an existing 2-story late 1800’s stone building and a mid-century brick warehouse right in the middle of the upcoming transit-oriented development adjacent to downtown.We sought to preserve the history but create something culturally conducive for the current and future generations. The building is old and this reflects on the interior of the restobar. Removing the plaster of the walls revealed awkwardly bricked old red bricks, which as if determined the further choice and arrangements of the elements for the interior. The space of the venue is developed in the rough loft style, which combines natural and artificially aged brick, metal and wood surfaces. PUNKRAFT is a craft beer bar just around the corner of a historic pedestrian street in Podol, the Kyiv downtown. This basement spot, packed with craft beer fans these days, used to host a cocktail bar.Our task was to change the schematic layout of the premises, keeping its kitchen and toilet facilities location, to equip cold room for beer kegs storage and completely redesign the interior including the entrance and guest zones. The premises are decorated with painted wooden panel walls, framed inserts and partially tiled wall areas. The customers can sit on Chester – style furniture, upholstered with artificial leather. Fairway Pub ‘s kaleidoscopic design is a confluence of energies ;. The space is full of decadent details, with Oaky timber beams covering the ceilings and touches of gold bronze trims, finished with Moonlight silver lights. A beautiful and sophisticated ambience is created with a running theme of grey stone, brown leathers and blue and white accents. The industrial and rustic patterned flooring adds a touch of the thrilling night with distressed grey industrial stone tiles create a noir flooring that resonates with the blue and reddish yellow ambient lights in the different parts of the restaurant.
