Northline Town Square

Central parks have long been recognized for their fundamental role in the life of a city, by providing a place of reprieve from the density and bustle of the urban fabric. People gather there for recreation and relief, socialization and play. Parks are places that accept the seemingly chaotic nature of the city’s pulse. Northline Town Square will be that for Leander, Texas. It’s at the center of the new Northline development, set to be the future downtown of Leander as it grows into a more metropolitan destination. Luuwit View Park

Skylab Architecture alongside 2.ink Studio, worked in close collaboration with Portland Parks to create a 16-acre park in a neighborhood of NE Portland. The design team developed the park around an integrated strategy that creates both passive native meadow areas that require limited maintenance as well as intensively used spaces that provide active program elements for park users. The neighborhood is home to many longstanding residences as well as an increasingly diverse range of new incoming ethnic groups. Battery Park

Battery Park is a new 12 000 sqm (1.2 hectre) urban park situated at a key entranceway to one of Africa’s most visited tourist destinations, the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, South Africa. Developed as the nucleus of a larger urban vision for the district, the site includes a park and piazza that effectively conceal a 1 206-bay parking facility as well as new pedestrian routes to invigorate the precinct with activity. Project: Regal Emporia Location: Great Noida, India Type: Mixed-Use Size: 50,000 m2 Client: Investor Clinic Design: Girimun Ltd 2011 Opening: 2015 This mixed-use development in Greater Noida Extension will act as a commercial hub for the developing region. Five levels of retail and a green terraced roof form a shopping and entertainment platform directly connected to 45,000 sqm of office space distributed in two towers. Central Festival Chiang Mai

Project: Central Festival Chiang Mai Location : Chiang Mai, Thailand Type: Retail centre Size: 210,000 m2 Client: Central Pattana Design : Girimun Ltd 2012 Opening: 2015 Sitting on a prominent corner on Chiang Mai ring road, this lifestyle retail centre combines indoor shopping and outdoor enjoyment. Project: Castelo Branco Office Park Location: São Paulo, Brazil Type: Offices Size: 240,000 m2 Client: Tishman Speyer Design: Girimun Ltd 2012 Opening: n/a Taking the 2 existing buildings as a starting point, we have created a phased commercial development with additional 6 office and hotel towers in a total of 240,000 sqm stretching along 500m. The towers are laid out in a soft rotation angle from each other so to allow more space between them, guarantee open views, and create a dynamic outdoor inner space rich in landscape, water features, canopied walkways and supportive retail. Project: Nanxiang Mall, Location: Shanghai, China Type: Retail centre Size: 45,000 m2 Client: China Resources Land Design: Girimun Ltd 2012 Architect: Mauro Resnitzky Opening: 2014 This lifestyle shopping mall is located at the fringe of a compound of high-rise apartments and serves the residents of a high-end suburb of Shanghai built around a giant man-made artificial lake. Originated at the lake, a canal waterfront system of pedestrian-friendly walkways culminates on this plot.
