This project juxtaposes two totally different design concepts that are integrated into an ambitious unfinished project that will culminate in the erection of an apartment tower within an investment plan established by the property's owners. The original façade follows the architectural guidelines established by Ford for its dealerships throughout Mexico based on the installation of a composite aluminum panel in a natural or silver finish that Simpleyfácil installed with Alucoflex brand inputs.  An undeveloped 5 acre lot had been a gathering place for the client’s family since the 1970’s. This beautiful lakefront oasis, known affectionately as The Narrows, lies just a few miles outside of downtown Austin. The owners insisted on a simple, humble, yet unique cabin to host their family gatherings and quiet weekend retreats. ​ This small cabin, nicknamed ‘Cousin Cabana’, needed to host multiple programs in a small space while maintaining a sense of openness. The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University Vietnam is an Australian-based University operating in Vietnam on two separate campuses. The bold new Academic Building 2 (AB2) is the most recent addition to their Ho Chi Minh campus. Over 1000 people from around the world, including designers, architects, engineers, construction workers took part in this project. Fort York, considered the birthplace of Toronto, is a National Historic Site. It represents the single most important visual and contextual cultural heritage link to British military and social history remaining in the City of Toronto. In 2009 Patkau Architects, together with Kearns Mancini Architects, won the international design competition to design a new Visitor Centre on the 18 hectare historic site to commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.  The site, once on the shores of Lake Ontario at Garrison Creek, but now isolated from the lake shore due to the expansion of the city, has an immensely rich archaeological past.
