This build focused on the use of brick and expanding the space for the family. The entire house was re-modelled whilst maintaining original details like the front door, hallway floor, main bannister rail, and the original fireplaces.  Caption A rear dormer extension is visible on the top floor with the addition of a new bedroom and bathroom. In blending the extension seamlessly into the house, the architect decided to add integrated windows, facing onto the garden. Project located on a wooded but noisy site, bordering the Brussels Ring. A south-facing fixed bay window on two levels gives an uninterrupted view of the landscape to the living spaces. The striking six-storey residential buildings have an urban feel about them, while the park-like surroundings and the varied clinker brick facades create a homely atmosphere. In Gheisizadeh residential apartment project, our main effort was to provide the maximum possible outdoor space to the residents, while creating the maximum visual privacy from outside to inside. The initial idea was to create a flexible and variable building façade. Today, the attention of the architects in the city is more focused on the wealthy areas and there is a lack of innovative projects in such poor areas. The site context’s situation is in decline, and architecture is being oblivious, which has affected the city fabric structure and visual aspect of the region. Architectural quality and sustainability permeate two rental apartment blocks in solid wood in Fristad, outside Borås in Sweden. The buildings are based on the concept "Wood right through" for the municipal housing company FRIBO. The project demonstrates that a high level of originality, together with solid wood and low energy technologies, does not have to mean high production costs or rents. Two low-energy buildings with walls, roofs and joists of solid wood and a facade of wood chips stand harmoniously in a copse.
