MADARI

More

LA BARRA DE EL FARO - GRUPO EL FARO

La Barra del Faro is, if not the most, certainly one of the most beloved places among the people of Cádiz and for lovers of fine gastronomy who visit the “Tacita de Plata.” On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of its opening, the Córdoba family decided to entrust Estudio EEBA with the renovation of this iconic bar, the flagship of a gastronomic group with five establishments in the province. Manuel Estéves Manuel Estéves The interior renovation project had to apply universal accessibility criteria, as well as improve the internal operation of the bar and the kitchen pass. The intervention also required sensitivity and respect for the establishment’s history, its values, and the aff... More

LAS GALIAS

Estudio EEBA carried out the renovation of Galias in Chipiona, featuring a white textured façade with abstract Bauhaus-style designs that are also reproduced in latticework and pergolas. The interior is a vibrant fruity orange that extends outward toward the street, spreading across the access ramp—white and orange like milk and mango. Manuel Estéves Manuel Estéves The premises occupy a corner along a tree-lined promenade, just 100 meters from Regla Beach. The difference in level with respect to the street is used to highlight the ice cream display cases facing the busier side, while also creating an elevated terrace accessed via an orange ramp that matches the interior. Manuel Estéves Ma... More

AÚNA

The collaboration and empathy between architecture and gastronomy were born intangible from its conception, marking common values; the countryside, honesty, humility, and simplicity of the raw materials, the craftsmanship, and the warmth of home. Local integration and global coherence propose the luxury of its spatial quality and the atmosphere it offers. A space that is free of pretensions and unnecessary ornaments and coatings. The project was a collaboration of architects, designers, landscapers, illuminators, artists, artisans, cooks, ceramists, and photographers, all of Mexican origin. Luis Gallardo / LGM Studio Arturo Arrieta At the same time, all materials, furniture, accessories, art, and decoration are also made in Mexic... More

jaguar negro

Jaguar Negro is inspired by the History of Mexico in two ways. The first one is intimately linked to the ancestral heritage of the Aztec culture, already distant in time and characterized by legends that have been transferred from generation to generation. And a second counterpart, much closer to our time, based on the Colonial Hacienda and its way of experiencing space, but brought to the present with contemporary touches that have a lot to do with the use of material. The project is, then, the result of an aesthetic and functional binomial, where graphic design and interior design conspire in order to create total coherence in the concept of this magical project located in 7 Bancas Escazú - Costa Rica. Design wine bar buskens

Once home to the famous music café Trianon, this national monument building  was in desperate need of renovation. The owners, three friends with a passion for wine, saw the potential and enlisted our studio to bring their vision to life. The result? Buskens: a vibrant wine bar where history meets contemporary design. Bob Romijnders Architectuur + Interieur Bob Romijnders Architectuur + Interieur Our team had a great eye for the building's historical details and worked within those frameworks to create a space that feels both modern and authentic. High ceilings, rich paneling, and an imposing façade with a covered terrace all add to the ambiance. To connect the front and back of the building, we broke through th... More

Restaurante Ginebre

The starting point for converting an industrial building into the new headquarters of the Ginebre Restaurant was to analyse its menu. And if Mediterranean gastronomy marks the carte of the place, the architecture had to correspond to it in the space. The reactivation of an old industrial building situated in the industrial estate of the town of Petrer, begins with two ceramic-bricks cantilevers whose curvature invites one to enter the restaurant, or to go around the building to directly access the lounge in the lower floor. Caption The upper part of the façade is finished off with a square lattice of white concrete, which subtly and elegantly emphasises the shape of the curved brickwork. The characteristic reddish colour is acc... More

RESTAURANT | RITMO FORMENTERA

After spending the day on the paradisiacal beaches of the island of Formentera, Ritmo is thought as the place to go to enjoy a relaxing sunset and cheer up as the Mediterranean night takes center stage. Luca Feller The place is located in the nerve center of the island and has the particularity of being a free-standing building, which gives it a magnificent presence from several points of view. The rehabilitation project of the building focused on eliminating palimpsests and emphasizing the semicircular arches as the characteristic element of the building. This action also had the objective of rehabilitating the disused roof and integrating the building into the Mediterranean environment through the lime coating of the entire envelope... More

Restaurante El Gordo y el Flaco

Trusting in our studio, Salva and Pablo commissioned us with the project for the relocation of their restaurant. For this purpose, an old corner house with no architectural value is chosen, located in a low-rise building area. This new location makes it possible to house the new restaurant in its own building, which allows all the advantages that its old premises did not have. The project covers the demolition of the old building and the construction of a new one. Whenever there is a change of business, there is a need to improve the existing, so the main starting point of the project was to solve all the problems that the old location had without affecting the main features of the restaurant. For this we thought, given that this new locati... More

Ajoblanco

Ajoblanco is a restaurant, inspired in the Spanish Mediterranean cuisine, which asked DIN interiorismo´ s team to develop an interior design related to their menu. The Mediterranean Sea that bathes the Spanish shores was the concept defined for the color palette and the elements used to shape the design for this project. Aldo Gracia The space used by the restaurant is divided in 3 levels, reason why it was very important to create a language to give unity to the whole concept taking advantage of the changes and the extent of the different areas. Aldo Gracia A lattice made of ropes surrounds the reception and being the lift the vertical axis connecting the different levels it was highlighted with wood-like ceramic combined... More
