Masaya – A Seafood Restaurant Inspired by the Art of Thai Fishing
The name Matsaya means “fish,” and the restaurant’s design draws inspiration from the traditional Thai fish trap, reinterpreted into a contemporary architectural language that celebrates heritage while creating a striking identity. Located at Town Hall Sukhumvit, a vibrant community hub, the façade is designed with clear glass to connect inside and outside seamlessly. The iconic fish trap structure is placed prominently, visible from the exterior, making Masaya a landmark destination that instantly captures attention.

Aqqu Central Café
The Almaty-based studio breathes new life into a landmark pavilion, transforming 1960s nostalgia into a bold manifesto for contemporary commercial design.
The Aqqu Central Café project is more than just a new opening in Almaty’s prestigious "Golden Square" it is a profound act of architectural reincarnation. In the 1960s, this site in Manshuk Mametova Park was home to the legendary "Aqqu" (Kazakh for White Swan). It was a sanctuary for the city’s intelligentsia, famous for its serene ponds where a pair of swans lived. After the original building was lost to a fire and eventually demolished, the site remained vacant, preserved only in the warm memories of older generations.

Café L'étage
The main accent of the interior of Café L'Etage is live greenery and decorative paper-mache products, a tribute to French motifs through the prism of self-irony. Textures and materials originally revolved around the idea of an abandoned greenhouse somewhere in France.
The special atmosphere was achieved not only by architectural and planning solutions but more so by subtle and thoughtful detail work
