Glass Star, located in Seongjeong-dong, Cheonan, is an eyewear store that has remained in the same place for many years. With a diverse customer base, it offers a wide range of brands, from those favored by young customers to children's and sports eyewear. As a result, it is a welcoming space where people of all ages can visit, connect, and shop comfortably. Melbourne jewellery label, Melanie Katsalidis, has opened its first-ever dedicated retail store in Melbourne’s iconic Royal Arcade. Working closely with Foolscap Studio, the store design has been inspired by the concept of ‘Future Histories’. The Browns Natural Pet Store design for their Goring branch is a development of the style that Liqui established with their Ferring store. As before the pet shop interior design called for bespoke shop counters and display cabinet design. A glass case for their handmade dog treats (that look like little cakes) has been incorporated into the shop counter design. The wall space has been utilised to a greater extent with custom floor to ceiling shelving and display design with the uppermost parts being reached by a rolling library ladder system. The project consists of the retail store architectural design and interior design project services for the Bursa-based company Afeks, which sells building materials and home products. The project has a total area of 6.000 m2 with 3 stores and one office floor. Within the scope of the project, both the facade and all interior designs of the building were completed. This relaxing and informal beach front restaurant design was conceived as a franchise model. And, once again, Liqui and Crate47’s dual involvement in this project has worked seamlessly to create a considered designer restaurant with a strong but friendly brand identity. The interior design makes full use of reclaimed materials producing a warm, relaxed environment. Utilitarian style lighting combined with dark and weathered woods creates an industrial beach shack aesthetic which is further reinforced by the use of surfboards and stylized imagery carefully placed throughout the interior. The client envisaged the luxurious retail space for premium salon furniture. The retail store was about 1800 sft with column right in the centre of the store. The designers took advantage of the central radical element, which spells bound the spatial organisation in a circular pattern, hence the circular pattern in ceiling and flooring. The circular ceiling with level differences and accentuated with blue colour lights gives a feel of expanse and fluidity. The minimalistic design has a color palette predominantly of white, broken with wooden finish. the mirror used on one wall doubles the volume of space and gives the grandeur feel for the space. More
