Gelato Messina x Shadow Bakery

Gelato Messina has built a reputation as one of Australia's most recognised artisan gelato brands, celebrated for its handcrafted flavours, premium ingredients and playful personality. As the business continued to grow, the challenge was to translate the brand's distinctive identity into a retail environment that could support high customer volumes while maintaining the authenticity and creativity that customers associate with the Messina experience. The design approach focused on creating a space that celebrates both the craft of gelato making and the energy of the brand. Rather than following conventional dessert retail design, the environment combines industrial materials with warm finishes to create an atmosphere that feels contemporar... More

Tathra Place

Tathra Place is a farm-to-table butchery concept that brings together branding, packaging and retail design to communicate the values of regenerative agriculture through a cohesive customer experience. Developed as a contemporary food retail destination, the project goes beyond creating a visual identity, establishing a brand that celebrates ethical farming, transparency and a genuine connection to the land. At the heart of the project is a simple philosophy: healthy land creates healthy animals, and healthy animals nourish healthy communities. This belief informed every stage of the design process, shaping a brand that reflects the natural cycles of agriculture while highlighting the care, craftsmanship and responsibility behind every pro... KARMAKAMET

KARMAKAMET is a long-established Thai fragrance and home scent brand with over 50 years of heritage. The brand began with the philosophy that scent is a universal language — one that connects us to memories and our truest selves. The name “KARMAKAMET” combines the Sanskrit word “Karma” with “Kamet,” a Himalayan peak, symbolizing a journey toward the highest level of olfactory experience. For KARMAKAMET, fragrance is more than simply a pleasant scent; it is an art form and a deeply personal experience that influences both the mind and body. Every scent holds equal value, much like each person’s own secret world — intimately tied to emotions, memories, and meaningful moments. This branc... More

Over the years, AIM Architecture and HARMAY have worked closely to redefine what a store can be, moving beyond retail to create spaces that foster curiosity, community, and cultural exchange. HARMAY, a pioneering beauty retailer known for its unconventional warehouse aesthetic and curated approach, has built a loyal following by turning shopping into a process of exploration. POPSOCKETS POP-UP Store

Vibrant and Colorful Wonderland This is POPSOCKETS‘ pop-up store located in Shanghai Taikoo-Li Qiantan. As a temporary space that has only been in operation for six months, the design needed to be highly concise and dry. Through design, a visually recognizable and experiential consumer scene was created within a limited time and space. YUI  In addition to the constraints of the current site conditions and budget, there are relatively few limitations from the client on the design expression of the pop-up store. Therefore, under the premise of meeting a series of established constraints, such as budget, schedule and site conditions, these clear limitations provide designers with a clearer framework and direction. JINS Ohtone Store

This is a plan for a roadside store for the eyewear brand “JINS” in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture. Several rivers of the Tone River system, including the Tone River, flow in the vicinity of the site, and one cannot help but feel the presence of a large river. We wanted to create an architecture that would be in harmony with this large river and its surroundings. Kenta Hasegawa Kenta Hasegawa Kenta Hasegawa Kenta Hasegawa Kenta Hasegawa Although the road in front of the building is a new road developed through land readjustment, it is planned to leave a certain area of land from the surrounding rivers and old waterways, so that the shape of the building inevitably gives the impression of a natural river... JINS Mitomotoyoshida Store

The site is located in an area surrounded by large commercial buildings. Since it is not located along a busy arterial road, we envisioned relatively slow vehicle movement and walk-in customers from the spacious open-air parking lot.Surrounding stores are single-story buildings 7 to 8 meters high.  Caption The design was based on a single-sloping roof to accommodate the speed of cars and people. The facade of the store has a single-flow gable face. The south side of the building is used as the entrance to the store, and a large wall runs through the interior and exterior of the building, allowing for beautiful natural light and a pleasant sense of seasonal change. We think that one of the raison d'etre of a roadside store is that... JINS Hikone Store

This store was planned as a new model for a community-based roadside store for eyewear brands. Daichi Ano The site faces the main road along the shores of Lake Biwa, giving it an overwhelming sense of scale, and is located in a corner of the parking lot of a large commercial facility. Daichi Ano The site is positioned as a large park overlooking the Lake, which is called "Mother Lake" by residents and is the largest in Japan with a long history and whose existence is deeply respected by the surrounding communities. Daichi Ano Therefore, we aimed to create a store that blends in with its surroundings like a pargola in the park, where customers can enjoy encounters with eyeglasses while being surrounded by rich nature. SAKE FOREST

E-Shochu is a company which envisions the deepening of Japan-Thai relations and interactions through the increased exposure of Japanese Liquor into the Thai market.  In keeping with that vision, this time the company is planning for a new retail outlet which aims not just to engage in liquor sales but also become the place for communicating the latest news in the industry as well as be the de-facto destination for Japanese liquor enthusiasts to gather.   We therefore proposed the creation of the Sake Forest (Japanese お酒の森) as a space to exhibit  the rich variety and style of liquor lineup comprising of Japanese Sake and Shochu, which are arranged metaphorically into a forest; liquor bottles standing proudly just like trees... ASADO variety store

Asado is a variety store selling Japanese imported products in Shandong Province. It is a design condition to display large quantities of goods such as stationery, cosmetics, miscellaneous goods, and food in the store. The upper of the space became an important point of the design because the portion below the eye line is almost buried by goods.   The upper design of the space has three functions. -1. Appeal to someone walking outside -2. Guidance of visitor's gaze -3.Signage for goods classification   The large roof from entrance to the inside of the store is characteristic of design. This roof produces the effect of the appeal to someone walking outside, and draws the visitor's gaze into the inside, and induces the visit... More
