Figg Store Karaköy

Figg is a shoe brand inspired by Istanbul, placing craftsmanship at its core and reinterpreting the traditional çarık form through a contemporary lens. Eren Can Sarıgil   Although conceived as a pop-up at Paket Postanesi, the store aims to create a sense of permanence in its spatial atmosphere. The existing industrial ceiling system is deliberately contrasted with tactile, designed material elements. Eren Can Sarıgil   The tall storage walls and the working table positioned at the back make the brand’s craft-based and workshop-oriented production logic visible within the space. Rin

Entering the fitting room with the selected garments evokes an experience shaped by passing into a space enclosed by fabric-draped walls, where boundaries are defined through their presence. It is an active and interpretive component that elevates choice from a purely visual procedure to an existential experience. Caption The elimination of the display window is not only the dissolution of a representational element but also a paradigmatic shift in the interaction with objects—garments are no longer presented as predetermined and imposed products for the observer’s gaze but ra...
