Careful attention to materials, sharp cuts, bold geometries, and the combination of seemingly contrasting elements—hallmarks of both Mugler —served as the foundation for the installation conceived by MOITIÉ STUDIO, a young Milan-based interior design firm, for the Massimo Bonini showroom.
Unveiled during Milan Fashion Week alongside the presentation of the historic French maison’s new footwear collection, the installation features a sequence of mirrored structures set against a soft blush-toned carpet and neutral hues, designed to evoke a dreamy, muffled mood.
The mirrored surfaces of the display volumes reflect the stunning fresco of the main floor at Palazzo Borromeo d’Adda, creating a poetic backdrop for the true protagonists of the space: the shoes.
