Seville Penthouse
The flat is located in the Remedios neighbourhood in Seville. It is a penthouse with a large terrace that is definitely the main feature of the project.
The refurbishment of the dwelling seeks to recover the potential of the space and the natural light, as before the intervention the flat was dark and very partitioned. To achieve this, it was necessary to enhance the indoor-outdoor connection, placing the terrace at the centre of the operation. The predominantly daytime rooms (living room, dining room and kitchen) were unified along the main façade. In this way, the terrace is presented as a spatial and visual extension of the dining room and living room to the outside through two large wooden sliding doors.

Hotel Radisson Collection Magdalena Plaza 5*
Bringing back the palm trees: an elegant new hotel and public square in the heart of Seville
Borgos Pieper has completed a new five-star Radisson Collection hotel and transformed Plaza de la Magdalena in the historic centre of Seville. The LEED Gold project has entirely reinvented two buildings, which together define the western edge of the square: ‘Magdalena’, a former 1960s glass-fronted department store, and ‘Rioja’, a smaller office building bordering Calle Rioja. Magdalena had once been the site of the Hotel Paris, an ornate hotel fronted by palm trees – the fashionable place to be seen at the end of the nineteenth century. The assignment consisted in the refurbishment of a small flat located in the historic centre of Seville, with a surface area of 55m2.

The need of the clients to create a new space containing two bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and living room posed a major challenge.
The external façade of the building is in front of a small square facing south, so the spaces most used during the day were turned towards it.

Plaza San Pedro renovation
Plaza San Pedro, in Villaverde del Río, is located outside the southern edge of the historic center and is crossed by one of the pedestrian arteries that articulate the urban fabric, Avenida de Santa Teresa. It joins two important areas: the historic center and the San Sebastián neighbourhood, the first major expansion of Villaverde del Río during the 20th century.
