Casa Morena is situated on a plot with verdant pine trees, a place where the view becomes lost in the green of the surrounding area and the immense blue of a bay. The pine trees mark the site and have influenced the planning and reticulated design of the house. Some of the schist, used to build the solid walls, was removed from the site. These walls mark the house’s foundation, which is deconstructed into walls that become lower and lower, becoming separate from the house and merging into the garden. Not far from Lake Carezza, in the Eggental valley, surrounded by lush larch forests and rugged peaks, lies House Carezza. The landscape here is a true paradise: The colours of the lake and the light of dusk are reflected on the surrounding peaks, offering breathtaking sunsets. The two new wooden houses translate the alpine architectural tradition of farmhouses into the present by combining materials such as wood and stone with modern technologies and reinterpreting the material separation between the upper and lower parts that is characteristic of this type of building.

In high class residential area, a large volume residence had to be constructed on a relatively small site. Next to a giant outdoor pool there was almost no space for a garden. So, the idea was to put the garden onto the roof and work close to the concept of a zero-seal house which means the sealed areas are given back to nature on the rooftop. The former entrance gate of Moayeri Hospital was in a state of disarray and lacked any identity or definition. There were two main challenges in the design of the main entrance, firstly, the angle of the hospital building compared to the main road and secondly, the presence of an emergency ramp next to the hospital entrance. Casa Lioz is located on sloping land, at the top of a hill, with an outstanding view of an estuary and the outline of the golden cliffs that border the bay of Lagos. To the north, the view extends to the outline of a mountain range and the green fields in between.
