The Baiyun Window

The Baiyun Window is located in the core business district of Baiyun New City, Guangzhou, with a height of 130m and a total construction area of 110,000㎡.  In combination with the regional environment, the overall layout is meant to being open to the city. City squares and commercial blocks were designed for the public, with a three-story staircase on the northeast side of the entrance, the sense of ceremony is emphasised. Detail: Woven carbon and glass fiber facade of Texoversum School of Textiles

The Texoversum School of Textiles at Reutlingen University is a teaching, research, and innovation center. The new Texoversum building is part of a wider university campus expansion plan and features a highly expressive, cutting-edge woven facade. A collaboration between Munich-based architectural practice Allmannwappner, Frankfurt-based architectural practice Menges Scheffler Architekten, and Stuttgart-based structural engineers Jan Knippers Ingenieure, Texoversum is the first building of its kind with a facade of woven carbon and glass fiber tiles. Caption Russell and Dawson provided architecture design services and engineered a 64,000 sq. ft. space for the construction of a new hotel with a project value of $ 15 million. We provided design-build services including Architectural, Structural, and MEP Design Services, Construction Administration, and Closeout. Russell and Dawson was also a general contractor for this project. The hotel is located off Highway 12 amid Key Road Plaza retailers and casual dining. Nashville Warehouse

Nashville is getting its first large-scale mass timber structure in the form of two office buildings, up to 5 storeys tall, as part of a larger mixed use development. A feature of the building is the gable roofs, which will create a beautiful vaulted space that will also highlight the warmth of wood from the exterior. The floor and roof decks use structural, prefabricated DLT panels supported by a Glulam post and beam frame. Epstein is pleased to be providing full-service design and engineering services for a multi-phased mixed-use development in Bacau, Romania, a city situated in the historical region of Moldavia, at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. This project, which is nestled along the Bristita River, is being developed by the new real estate development arm of the home improvement company, Dedeman, the Romanian equivalent of The Home Depot. Two Tabor

Epstein served as the design architect, MEP/FP engineer and structural engineer for Two Tabor, a 33-story high-rise office building located in Denver, Colorado. Two Tabor's full-block site is bordered by Larimer, Lawrence, 16th and 17th streets and is a component of an urban development that was initially constructed in the mid-1980's. At that time a master plan was developed that included two office towers, retail space and hotel. The initial construction in 1987 included the hotel, the retail component and one of the office towers, which was subsequently named One Tabor. Depoldering Noordwaard is one of the largest projects in the Netherlands aiming to create more room for the river. A consortium of Boskalis, Martens en Van Oord, Van Hattum en Blankevoort and Gebroeders Van Kessel were commissioned to run the project. Epstein provided architectural and interior design, as well as full-service engineering services, for an expansion & partial renovation to the Park Plaza Senior Living Center in Chicago, Illinois. Park Plaza is an 180,000-square-foot modern Jewish Orthodox senior retirement facility located on the north side of Chicago, built in 1987. The center includes many amenities for social functions such as a beauty salon, library, and game room, as well as other facilities for physical therapy, and worship in an independent community.
