The focal point of the living room is a multifunctional 4.5-meter-long sofa. The left side of the sofa is a TV viewing area, while the right side is seating at the dining table. The height-adjustable base of the dining table provides comfortable seating for both dining and working on a laptop. The thick backrest of the sofa offers hidden storage behind the cushions, and there is a shelf above for books, decor, and LEGO collectibles.

Studio Jeongdongjin
Jeongdongjin – The Eastern Edge of Korea
The new office of Architecture Studio YEIN is located in Jeongdongjin, a coastal village along Korea's East Sea. The name Jeongdongjin originates from its position “a village located directly east of Gwanghwamun in Hanyang, once home to a riverside ferry.” This tranquil seaside community, primarily composed of rural farming and fishing villages, features small coastal harbors and fields stretching inland. The site for the office lies on the outskirts of the village, in a field where the ever-changing seasons are vividly experienced.

Housed in the flourishing plains on the perimeter of the urban area of the Otura village, the Soledad Sevilla artist studio, designed by Antonio Cayuelas, is a result of a creative process that started ten years before with a mutual and shared interest in the Vega de Granada's agricultural architecture, specifically the tobacco drying sheds.

Challenges: Managing accurate sound and acoustic levels. Accuracy of lighting within the studio. Appropriate circulation plan to ensure visitor movement and employee movement is perfectly planned.

Sino Engineering acquired an old 1,000 sqm factory in an industrial area zone, Pudong Shanghai. The factory structure was sound but the interior was in need of a complete overhaul to create an inspiring space for clients and staff alike.The brief was to create a fresh and modern automotive design studio which would house twenty design staff. The office area needed ample break-out space and separate meeting areas for the design teams to collaborate fluidly.
