Almost atrial house - open house
A house project on a relatively small but extremely charming (at least from the east) plot located in Ruda Śląska. Working on the house project with the client, presenting various concepts in the form of a two-story house with a flat roof, we finally came to the conclusion that the ideal solution for the investor would be an atrium house.

The dwelling, stripped of artifices, is divided into two clearly defined strata by the choice of materials and the arrangement of its spaces. The genesis of this home finds its roots in the need to build a versatile abode, adapted to an unknown audience, within the framework of a low-budget real estate project. Round Sky and Angular Ground
The phrase, “The sky is round and the ground is angular.” is an old-saying found in the Chinese astronomic book, Zhou bi suan jing. Ancient Fareast Asians acknowledged the boundary between the sky and buildings as curves. For that reason, traditional Korean buildings have distinctively curved roof lines. We took a philosophical approach in terms of designing building rather than the curved form itself.

The project site is in the city of Belogradchik, located on the high points surrounded by a natural rock park stretching from west to east with a length of up to 30 km. The Belogradchik rocks are over 230 million years old, while the settlements above them date back to the Roman era. The latest period of its development - in the last century left the city with public buildings, representatives of modernism, which define its appearance to this day.

Two villas - Flesaasveien
Elegantly placed and intertwined with the sloping terrain, the two villas on Flesaasveien have a simple yet striking volume. The two buildings are positioned next to an existing house in a residential neighbourhood to the north of Oslo, Norway. The surrounding area is characterised by its green and open spaces. With a sensitivity to the surrounding context and site conditions, this densification project eases into the neighbourhood without overcrowding the site. A combination of curves and straight lines in the project gives a refreshing but modern addition. The exterior is clad in untreated heartwood of pine, outer corners rounded to provide a dynamic yet soft and fluid appearance.

The Brisas da Mata house is an exercise in adapting to the conditions of the place. Subtly inserted in a small corner lot with little area available for construction and steep topography, its implantation took place through two levels at different levels in order to avoid large earthworks.
