In downtown Montreal, a major office fit-out transforms several existing floors into a collaborative, hybrid work environment. Spread across three levels, the project rethinks areas previously organized as rows of enclosed offices and cubicles, adapting them to new ways of working that combine in-person and remote collaboration. The prestigious neighbourhood of Warsaw’s Wola district, heritage buildings, historic streets, excellent commute to the rest of the city – the news of Allegro’s planned move from Q22 to the representative office buildings of the Norblin Factory complex has been around for a while. Although the idea of Allegro’s unique office design has so far been somewhat shrouded in mystery, today we can, at last, peek inside and enjoy the company’s spectacular space, occupying almost 24,000 sq. m (7 floors). GROUP A has completed the sculptural office tower centrally located in the vibrant Utrecht Station Area. The 90-meter-high Central Park is named after the subtropical park that marks the city’s 45 meter line. The two-story indoor park is enclosed by a receding glass facade embracing the park like an undulating curtain. This is where employees come together to unwind, brainstorm or attend an event in a unique ecosystem overlooking the city. The office building for Santé publique France, the French public healthcare agency, is located at the edge of the Bois de Vincennes, from which it draws its inspiration. It is entirely made of wood: structure, flooring, façades… The shape is like a bundle of sticks placed on the ground that branch out like open, protective arms. This design symbolizes the mission of this institution, which oversees the health of everyone who lives in France.
