A primary challenge in economic residential developments is the scarcity of green spaces and a lack of attention to sustainability, often due to high land occupancy and the necessity of minimizing construction costs; the Bashtani project was no exception to these constraints. The Larestan Office which is designed in collaboration with Sepehr Seyyed Esfahani (Architecture, Objects & Pictures Studio for Architecture and interdisciplinary design & research) is situated on Motahari Street in Tehran. The building features an integrated office space spread across four floors, with two additional underground floors housing service facilities. These underground floors include some spaces such as a meeting room media room and conference areas. The project focused on designing a model facade for Refah Kargaran Bank branches that can be used across different parts of the city, despite the varying scales and sizes of the branches. The initial design idea revolved around a frame that covers the entire facade of the bank. The frames are structured to be stepped, forming three continuous surfaces that can be moved wherever required to accommodate the entrance and ATM spaces, regardless of their location on the facade. If the entrance and ATM are too close to each other, they can collide to minimize shell crowding in one section. The former entrance gate of Moayeri Hospital was in a state of disarray and lacked any identity or definition. There were two main challenges in the design of the main entrance, firstly, the angle of the hospital building compared to the main road and secondly, the presence of an emergency ramp next to the hospital entrance.
