Larestan Office

archoffice | architecture & construction office as Architects

The Larestan Office which is designed in collaboration with Sepehr Seyyed Esfahani (Architecture, Objects & Pictures Studio for Architecture and interdisciplinary design & research) is situated on Motahari Street in Tehran. The building features an integrated office space spread across four floors, with two additional underground floors housing service facilities. These underground floors include some spaces such as a meeting room media room and conference areas. This project is situated between two thick walls on the western and eastern sides, which has assumed the role of the main structure of the building. The slabs of the floors are connected to these concrete walls from the sides and they can establish a visual connection with other levels with the voids in between them.

The roof of the building is practically removed due to an envelope that is integrated on the south and north sides with various fractures and also moves above the building. Windows are defined on this envelope, in addition, it is possible to fully allow light to pass through; by creating transparency, it is possible to communicate with the interior of the project. The windows in the upper section will let the light from above reach the lowest level in the basement with the help of voids. The staircase in the southern part of the building is defined as the open space, which is placed on top of the envelope at the highest level.

On the first floor, you will find meeting rooms, services, a welcoming lobby, and a waiting area. The second and third floors are dedicated to open office spaces, the heart of the project. Finally, on the fourth floor, you'll discover the management and meeting rooms, all with interconnected views.

The conference hall, media room, and meeting spaces are elegantly situated on the first and second basement levels, allowing natural light to illuminate the underground areas through strategically placed windows at ground level. The ground floor impressively features the building entrance and convenient car and bicycle parking.
