TriBeCa’s Vestry Street has a vast variety of facade configurations and building heights. Over the years, the district has evolved from textile trade to artists’ warehouses, and now, residences. Archi-Tectonics’ V33, a high-end residential condominium, unifies the historically varying building-fronts via a pixelated facade. The design team generated numerous pixelation patterns by overlaying Vestry Street’s varying facade levels. The resulting pattern is comprised of translucent stone and glass, which creates variable facade conditions throughout the course of the day. Vlissingen – Enerco
In 2015 Rodeca supplied its transparent building elements for a new construction project of Enerco, a wholesaler of solid fuels in Vlissingen. What is very special about this project is that it concerns a factory that can be completely disassembled so that it can later on be built elsewhere.In total 2300m2 of PC 2540-4 decocolor panels were used in the project in the striking pacific blue color. Diamant School Apeldoorn
In 2016 our polycarbonate product was used for the facade of the Diamant School in Amersfoort. For this project, MTB Architects chose the 60mm paneltype in a clear color with profiles from our 4060 series.The design is special, because it concerns a school without classrooms. The units for 3 teachers and a maximum of 75 pupils are designed as meandering spaces with two glass concentration / presentation rooms in them. An elevated playroom with a studio above it, in the middle of the school give a spatial effect with many vistas through their split-level.
