Diamant School Apeldoorn

Rodeca GmbH as Facade cladding

In 2016 our polycarbonate product was used for the facade of the Diamant School in Amersfoort. For this project, MTB Architects chose the 60mm paneltype in a clear color with profiles from our 4060 series.

The design is special, because it concerns a school without classrooms. The units for 3 teachers and a maximum of 75 pupils are designed as meandering spaces with two glass concentration / presentation rooms in them. An elevated playroom with a studio above it, in the middle of the school give a spatial effect with many vistas through their split-level. The transparency of our product makes sure the kids get enough daylight.

Rodeca panels as facade elements have a lot of advantages. They are light weight, have good thermal insulation and the choice in colors is endless. There’s also possibilities to upgrade your facade by using LED-light behind or print on the polycarbonate.
