Hotel Ladera
ULMA has participated in the construction of the facade of the Hotel Ladera, awarded the Prix Versailles for facades 2017.
The new Hotel Ladera, located in Santiago de Chile, has created an innovative facade with avant-garde design. Part of that design is composed by the ULMA ventilated facade, providing a slate-like appearance to some areas of the building. The earth texture and dark colour were chosen to achieve the stone-like appearance required.
This facade system provides greater technical and aesthetic durability and protects against damp and outdoor temperature changes, providing energy savings and creating a healthier environment for the end user.

Restoration of Fazer Factory

Social Housing Buildings Leioa
Ventilated polymer concrete facade panels manufactured by ULMA have been installed together with prefabricated concrete pieces.
A new set of social housing buildings containing 108 homes and promoted by the Basque Government, has been built in the Leioandi neighbourhood, situated in the municipality of Leioa, Bizkaia.

MOLLET police station
The building has different sustainable elements, including the ventilated facade, which achieves 49% energy consumption lower than a building of similar characteristics.
The construction of the MOLLET local police station is the result of an open tender for the construction of the central library (not yet started) and the local police station on a plot of municipal property. The project presented by Taller 9s arquitectes won the first prize.

The first: to design a building that can ‘feel like a city’ – both due to its uniqueness and to the public spaces it generates.
The second: to design a building which connects with distant perspectives when walking around, providing at the same time introspection when inside its exhibition halls.

In response to the need for a service for the elderly, Álava Regional Council has promoted the construction of the largest old people's home in the region, with 100 residential places and two day-care centres, and capacity to attend to 60 people.

Laviña - de la Villa Arquitectura has completely restorated the office building located on Calabria Street, Barcelona.
The building was previously made of prefabricated concrete that needed to be replaced due to its very poor condition and the serious threat of collapse. The architects considered the option of fitting stone, but after studying the advantages and disadvantages of each material they finally opted for polymer concrete, due to its better price. Ca L’Anita
Located in the historic centre of Roses, the former “Estanco de la Punta” building houses the sociocultural equipment by request of the previous owner, who gave it to the city council with this condition.
For the cladding of the building, polymer concrete panels were chosen, achieving a very special and customized finish. We wished to pay tribute to Anna Marés, the former owner, and therefore installed perforated panels which, by the combination of holes, form geometric figures with the same pattern as the original mosaic that covered the floor. In the installation, great care has been taken to place each piece correctly to allow the final pattern to be viewed properly.

MARINA DA GLORIA
The channels installed in this project are the SELF200 channels with galvanised grille for pedestrian areas, and the F150K with cast iron grilles for areas with greater load strength for heavy vehicles. Marina da Glória has a structure which can house 100 vessels of up to 46 feet long in dry dock. It also has 300 mooring points distributed in four floating docks, housing vessels up to 260 feet long. The Ribas & Ribas Architects studio, founded in Barcelona in 1957, has been commissioned to design the second Altima morgue in l'Hospitalet, with a curved façade designed by Josep Ribas one of the most unique features of the building.
It is a three-story building with 6.812 m2 of built area which features a 1.135 m2 façade and a 805m2 celling. The SLOT DRAINAGE is part of an integral system, consisting of a discrete slot, a channel body and a sump unit for optimal maintenance of the drainage system. It is an inverted “T” or “L” shaped grating model, that stands out mainly for its aesthetics, since it integrates perfectly in the pavement (either concrete, paving stone or tiles), totally blending in with the urban landscape.
