The villa typology, in this region, is often defined by four enclosing walls with terraces on one side—boundaries that organize and contain space. Starting from this conventional model, we questioned its limitations and possibilities. Through exploration and precedents, we decided to add the [+1] wall—an element free of the traditional expectations of walls. Unlike the four enclosing walls, the +1 wall does not simply divide or contain; it disrupts, expands, and transforms the experience of the villa. The Concept was based on the view of the surrounding landscape. The sea on one side and the forest on the other. The design of the spaces has been done in such a way that the common spaces of the ground floor have a view to the sky and the forest, and the first floor has a view of the sea and the forest. Also, due to the location of the villa between the sea and the forest, it is desirable to use natural blinds. This project set out to complete a high-end villa in a time- and cost-effective manner by combining modular 2.5-by-6-meter steel units.  The site lies on an inclined plot at the southernmost point of Minamiboso City, with an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. To keep earthworks to a minimum, the design adopted a split-level arrangement that responds to the natural topography, placing two detached wings at ground level with the main residence above. Situated lakeside just north of Geneva, the Bellevue Villa, originally constructed in the 80s, and its 19th century annex, were in dire need of renovation. The Japanese word "gaijin" (外人) translates to "outsider" or "foreigner." It can also be interpreted as a figure from another world—almost like an alien. In many ways, this perfectly describes the house. Driving down Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński Street in Józefów, it is hard to miss. It does not try to be overly familiar, nor does it attempt to mimic the traditional, local Świdermajer architectural style. Villa Meander stands on a narrow, elongated plot measuring less than 16 meters in width. Its undulating form is a direct architectural response to its surroundings, referencing the winding Jeziorka river that flows near the base of the property. Located in Çeşme, İzmir, Casa Uva is a residential project consisting of two houses, each developed on a 635 square meter plot with approximately 564 square meters of enclosed living space. Completed in 2021, each house comprises three levels, including a basement. The main structure is surrounded by a landscape in which travertine, mosaic stone, and natural wood cladding are used in harmony.
