co.arch’s project (Andrea Pezzoli and Giulia Urciuoli) in Cervinia is set within the Giomein complex, designed by Mario Galvagni and completed in 1972 on the homonymous promontory, overlooking the Breuil basin and the profile of the Cervino. Conceived during the peak expansion of Alpine tourism—new ski runs, cableways, infrastructure and holiday residences—Giomein interprets the mountain not as scenery but as a morphological and perceptual system against which architecture chooses to measure itself. Situated at the top of a 5-story urban infill, this 2,100 SF office space provides refuge and inspiration within this small, historic commercial neighborhood. Departing from conventional office amenities, the suite is designed to promote invention and collaboration among a dynamic group of interdisciplinary entrepreneurs.  Cameron Campbell Integrated Studio The office is divided into three equal-sized programmatic zones which comprises half of the building’s top floor. A modern, cool-toned kitchen and dining area - that was the idea. We decided on a classic white and off-white background with teal as an accent color, with black elements for contrast.  The design is simple, minimalist even, but what sets this interior apart are the high quality materials used. The necessary bit of warmth that makes the space inviting and cozy despite the cool color palette is the teal velvet used for furniture upholsteyry and decorative elements throughout the entire apartament. The flagship shop designed by ALEKSA studio for designer sunglasses brand For Art’s Sake in London’s historic Covent Garden showcases attention to detail and an aesthetic that is targeted at millennial shoppers, reflecting the elegant and intricate frames produced by the brand. Pastel colours, a selfie station and ‘Instagram spots’ are key design features to ensure that the outlet speaks to a style-conscious digital generation. The “Apartment SS” project included a complete adaptation of the apartment located in Banovo Brdo disctrict (Belgrade), in a residential building from the 1960s. The works took nearly a year and included architectural and furniture design as well as full supervision of the process.The client, a young choreographer, wanted to turn a somewhat shabby old apartment, that was almost untouched since the time in which it was built, into a strongly personalized, modern and aesthetically boldly shaped living space.The functional challenge was fitting an entry hall with a wardrobe and a shoe closet, a kitchen with a dining room, a bedroom with a makeup table and a dresser, and a living room, into a small surface area of 51 square meters.As a result,...
