The clients were familiar with Marc’s West Coast work and wanted his talent for framing vistas brought to their view of treetops and distant valleys. Simplistic and modern, are the adjectives used to describe the Verde Point apartments in Arlington, Va. The fresh community consists of two buildings, one that is 10-stories tall and houses 162 apartments, along with a low building featuring a parking garage, grocery store and 39 residential units. Opened in July 2015, the Verde Point apartments were created as a way to address the housing demand in the vicinity to the Courthouse Metro Station.The architect, Antunovich Associates, inspired by the surrounding cityscapes of neighboring Alexandria and Washington, D.C., designed the tower to offer residents panoramic views from their living spaces.
