Casa Borgoña
Casa Borgoña is the home of an art and wine lover, a spirit kindred to Alfonso X “The Wise”, on whose avenue the residence is located. Just as the king once brought culture and knowledge to the city of Murcia, this house embraces that heritage and transforms it into architecture: a space where design, history, and everyday pleasure intertwine.
The dwelling is organized around a key architectural gesture: a curved wooden corridor that acts as its backbone. Trieste. Pane Quotidiano is an advanced and modern gastronomic reality with many locations in the city. The bread is always hot there. Fold House conceals an impressive structural system while revealing spectacular spaces
On a residential property in Southern Ontario, Fold House by PARTISANS gently ‘folds’ itself into the contours of the surrounding hillside. With a green roof blurring the edges between landscape and building, an impressive structural system affords wide spans and spectacular spaces.

A total of two storeys, the wood and steel structure features an eighty-foot long by ten-foot-tall sliding glass façade that allows for panoramic views from the home’s nestled vantage point. The undulating structure further disguises a ninety-foot structural steel which supports a floating canopy at the front of the building.

Austrian home showcases contemporary wood detailing
In the mountains of Blons, Austria, this small house four a family of four references traditional building typologies of the Walseral-Valley. The design comes from Innauer Matt Architekten who are known for their work in Alpine regions.

Skigard Hytte embeds the practicalities of Scandinavian design within the rural vernacular
Architects are inherently creative, but often creative ambitions need to be tempered according to client preferences and expectations. So when San-Francisco based husband and wife team Casper and Lexie Mork-Ulnes of Mork Ulnes Architects designed their family ski retreat in the Norwegian Kvifjell resort area, they were able to push their creative boundaries with a freedom rarely afforded when working for clients.
