Fuu Oimachi by LATIERRA
R/URBAN DESIGN OFFICE has completed the renovation of Fuu Oimachi by LATIERRA, a former corporate dormitory in the Oimachi area of Tokyo, transforming it into a rental residence with integrated communal facilities. The project marks the first renovation and conversion within the LATIERRA urban rental housing series developed by Tokyo Gas Real Estate.

A Quiet Presence: reflecting the minimal, linear design language
Vitasti Design Studio in Rajkot is conceived as a calm and composed workspace rooted in the principles of Scandinavian design. Embracing an open-plan concept, the 600 sq. ft. space is designed to feel larger than it is—minimal walls, seamless transitions, and a restrained palette of natural wood, glass, white, and grey create a sense of visual lightness and spatial fluidity. The studio opens through a landscaped court, acting as a green threshold that buffers the noise from the adjacent road and shields the interiors from harsh sunlight. Carefully selected plants like Traveller’s Palm, Golden Bamboo, and Spider Lilies soften the entry sequence, offering a refreshing pause before stepping into the workspace.

Set within the East Tai Lake ecological tourism resort in Wujiang, Suzhou, Jiangsu province, the audio bookstore designed by Parallect Design blends local characteristics with the existing structure to strengthen the cultural theme design and planning.

The audio bookstore is a physical platform delineating the stories and cultural landscape of the East Tai Himalayan Lake. The project comprises a technology-based exhibition hall and a “Hui” living room, separated by a large sand table. BUREAU creates a cross-cultural sculptural respite for artists and wanderers in the French woods
Set amidst the woods of Sergy, France, architectural firm BUREAU crafts Therese, an organic sculpture and a temporary shelter for artists. The work of Swiss novelist Charles-Ferdinand Ramuz serves as an inspiration for the design, a quaint architectural being in the form of a boulder fostering wanderers and nature lovers. The narrative continues, evolving into a brief series with the emergence of Thérèse.

NS Apartment
With an original segmented floor plan, the project for the renovation of this 400 square meters apartment in São Paulo city united the spaces and integrated the entire social area. Seeking to create a visual unity, the main living wall was entirely covered in wood panels, which through mimicked doors – opening and pivoting – from floor to ceiling, give access to the TV room, kitchen, toilet and intimate area. On the walls with windows, the L-shaped joinery is an important element, responsible for space for books and exhibition of the client’s pieces of art, uniting living and dining and also serving as support for both spaces.
