Banker Wire’s representative in Sweden, Pahlfer, was commissioned to manufacture metal mesh for Hotel Scandic Örebro Central. The Banker Wire M14Z-5 is used in custom sizes for their long menu board canopy that runs along the reception, cafe, and the long bar counter in the lounge. The dark oxide-plated metal meshes are mounted in black frameworks in the ceiling feature, as well as in the movable screens along the counter at their coffee station. Completed in 2015, the Stade de Soccer de Montreal is an award-winning addition to Montreal’s sports culture. The facility is situated along the edge of a former quarry that is currently in the process of being transformed into a nearly 500–acre ecological park – soon to be the largest urban park in Montreal. In 1924, a parking garage at 801 West Lafayette Blvd. in Detroit, Michigan was built. It was one of two buildings built for the Detroit News, with the other being the home of the newspaper itself. When the building was purchased in 2014 by Bedrock Management, renovations began immediately, with the preservation of the historic design elements of the building being of utmost priority. In order to convert the parking garage from fully enclosed to sufficiently ventilated, a custom metal mesh solution was required.
