Lincoln | The belle of the ball

The architects designed a six-meter-tall wall using rectangular GOLF ROMEO mesh for Lincoln's trade show stand, opting for brass due to its striking appearance. The mesh is suspended in a wavy pattern, creating a luxurious visual effect that resembles flowing water. This dynamic design enhances the grandeur of the stand, providing depth and a play of light and shadow that emphasizes elegance and sophistication. Light falling on solid brass at an angle produces a magnificent glow. Combined with the rectangular mesh and undulating suspension, it looks like liquid gold. The golden hue of the brass adds warmth and reinforces the brand’s luxury identity.

World Port Centre Rotterdam

The World Port Centre (WPC) in Rotterdam has undergone a thoughtful renovation, emphasizing accessibility and social interaction. The lobby has been transformed into a dynamic hub, featuring distinct areas for meetings, relaxation, and social gatherings. Informal amenities such as lounges and a bar invite guests to linger and connect. Design elements are carefully curated, enhancing the overall aesthetic and creating a sense of place. Mecanoo's cohesive interior design employs the semi-circle motif throughout, using durable materials like metal, wood, leather, and concrete to create an inviting and tactile environment. Acoustic needs and durability were priorities in material selection, with thoughtful placement enhancing the lobby's lively ambiance. Notably, the stylish rounded ceiling panels, including GOLF ROMEO used above the bar area, contribute to the refined atmosphere, completing the vision of a contemporary workspace that prioritizes user experience and comfort.
