AM3 was founded in 2011 by architects Marco Alesi, Cristina Calì, and Alberto Cusumano. The practice works on public, institutional, and private projects, designing interventions within historically and environmentally significant contexts.
AM3’s design process begins with a careful analysis of the specific context in which each project is situated, through research aimed at identifying and enhancing the unique qualities of a place. Through a multiscalar and interdisciplinary approach, the studio seeks to give maximum meaning to forms, techniques, and materials, creating spaces in constant dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity.
