BarrioBohrer is a Madrid-based architecture studio founded by Antonio del Barrio (Madrid, 1992) and Leonardo Bohrer (Guayaquil, 1992), developing a range of different projects in both Spain and Ecuador. Both founders graduated in Architecture at the Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura in Navarre, Spain. They decided to partner in 2017, following their work experience in London and Madrid. However, the actual conception of BarrioBohrer started many years before that, through the founders’ constant conversations about the relationship between individuals and space. As a result of this journey, BarrioBohrer has flourished as an architecture and design practice, with a meticulous attention to the crafting of spatial solutions through clear gestures, materials’ selection and controlled scale.
