Our story begins with Leopoldo Milà a veteran pioneers of industrial design in Spain, a member of a small group of advanced artists who in the sixties one today but then nonexistent consolidated profession were invented. INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER. He was a member of a large family of Barcelona progressive aristocracy, the Milà Sagnier, of nine children, including Alfonso, renowned architect, partner Federico Correa and Miguel, pioneer and promoter of design. In the seventies Leopoldo Mila created the company Polinax (his family name, Polin), where it will begin to develop and produce themselves and their brothers Miguel and Alfonso for home and building designs. Later, in 1984 created DAE -Design Energy Saving, where he worked until July 2006, when he died.
