EOVASTUDIO is an architecture practice founded in Seville in 2015 by Juan José Baena, Marta Gómez, and Joanna Jedrus. Its work is grounded in materiality and in the analysis of history, culture, and context, reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility, where intuition and the precise use of materials guide projects closely linked to the historical and cultural imprint of place. Collaboration with local craftsmen and workers provides essential value to both the creative and construction processes in each of their works. Their recent recognitions include an Honourable Mention at the ASCER Awards 2025, the 18th Félix Hernández Prize by COACo, finalist status in the La Casa de la Arquitectura Awards 2025, and selection in the CSCAE Architecture Awards 2024, all for the Ferrobús Pavilion in Palma del Río.They are also the winners of the AMAD Award 2026, Rebuild Award 2025 and the Expoconstruye Award 2025 for Best Timber Construction at a national level, for the Oceánika Coliving project in Torremolinos, Málaga. The practice was awarded the Sánchez Esteve Prize 2020–21 by COAC and selected for the FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design 2022 for Casa Oché. Likewise, it received the 1st Special Mention in the Andalucía Architecture Awards 2022 for Best New Building, was nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2022, and was distinguished with the COAS Award 2021 as Best Young Practice in Seville and the COAH Award 2020, all for the SCANIA Industrial Complex.
