You’re probably familiar with Hyundai cars. But you might not be familiar with Hyundai L&C. The L&C stands for ‘Living & Culture’, and the company is dedicated to creating a new lifestyle culture with the simple mission of creating happy customers and a more abundant and connected world. Hyundai L&C was formed in December 2018 when its parent, Hyundai Department Store Group, purchased Hanwha Surfaces, the former owner of the HanStone Quartz and Hanex Solid Surfaces brands. Its US headquarters is in Atlanta. There are many different Hyundai companies and divisions, and most operate independently. HanStone Quartz is the company’s flagship product that led to the opening of a state-of-the-art 250,000 square foot manufacturing facility in London, Ontario, Canada in 2009. Many Hanex Solid Surfaces colors are made at the company’s Texas plant which opened in 2019. We continue to focus on expanding our North American manufacturing footprint to expand capacity and serve customers better.
