Renowned for her talent for mixing prints, graphics and colors, Laura Gonzalez has invented a sparkling style, to her image, while always including craftsmanship in all her projects. She opened her agency while being still at university. This was followed by several successful restaurants such as Lorraine and iconic Lapérouse restaurant in Paris. Other major work includes sophisticated residentialuch as her house in Normandy, France, some of the most prestigious international luxury groups like Cartier boutiques around the world, especially the refurbishment of the house’s landmark Mansion in New York, and lastly, hospitality groups like the revival of mythical Saint-James Paris. Confirming her talent for regenerating French classicism with spicy romantic touches. Last year, Laura Gonzalez conceived Hotel Hana in Paris, a genuine cocoon where Belle Époque patterns blend with the Japanese style, and Casa Monti in Rome, inspired by the bohemian, artisanal life of the Monti district.
Laura Gonzalez also curates a line of furniture showcased in her galleries on the left bank in Paris and in downtown New York, respectively arranged in the likes of private houses. Early 2024, she released a book published by Rizzoli, retracing her extraordinary career and inviting readers to explore the dynamic world of her most impressive projects. Her upcoming projects include a collaboration with Schumacher for an exclusive collection of wallpapers and fabrics to be released in september 2025, and lastly the interior architecture for Majorca’s Mandarin Oriental rooms, lobby and spa areas, to open in the nect coming months.
