SERRANO + BAQUERO Arquitectos

We, Juan Antonio Serrano Garcia (1983) and Paloma Baquero Masats (1984) are architects, graduated at the Architecture School of Granada in 2009, with a PhD in Advanced Architectural Design by the Architecture School of Madrid in 2012. We established Serrano+Baquero in 2010, developing several projects among which we could highlight Horizontal Showcase, a little store built in Granada in 2010 that was selected for the 2010-2012 edition of Arquia Proxima Prizes and for the Iberoamerican Biennale of Design, 33 Displaced Pieces of Glass, a reuse project finalist at the LAMP Lighting Solutions Prize and second price in the A+ awards, and A journey through an orchard, the recovery of an abandoned orchard, recently finished, as well as some competitions like Rurban Geology and New Water Garden, both being winner proposals at the XI European contest in Lanzarote and Leeuwarden, respectively.
