Based in New York City, Studio Link-Arc, LLC is an international team of architects and designers that collaborates across disciplines in order to work in the fields of urbanism, architecture, exhibition design and digital environments while understanding the challenges unique to our time. Our name, Link-Arc, refers to the practice’s collaborative nature as well as the company’s mission, which aims to link knowledge, resources, and intelligence worldwide. We reimagine architecture to assert its relevance in an increasingly dynamic and global world, one in which boundaries between disciplines, cultures, and countries are rapidly dissolving.
Rather than applying a single design philosophy to all of our commissions, we approach each project from a critical perspective, which allows us to work appropriately at every scale. Our body of work includes: installations, architecture, landscape design, and urban planning, with unique, yet related, methodologies applied to each. Our fifteen-person staff hails from eight countries and four continents; each team member brings a unique perspective on architecture and life, and actively contributes to our firm’s exploratory atmosphere.
Studio Link-Arc’s current work includes: the China Pavilion for the 2015 Milan Expo, a private clubhouse and gallery in Shenzhen, the second phase of a previously completed master plan in Guangdong, and a European furniture installation and exhibition.
