studiomolter is an interdisciplinary workshop researching and practicing in architecture and design. Inspired by curiosity our talented team explores complexity and diversity of all scales in architecture to design from large scale developments to individually crafted homes and interventions for private individuals focusing a scientific design research approach.
Our method to design our built environment is based on a deep cultural as well as geographical research. The way we work reflects personal as well as social context in order to find the appropriate solution in an open and collaborative design research with architects, exceptional clients, engineers, scientists and experts.
In order to communicate ideas and strategies, we use cutting edge technology as well as traditional cardboard and paper modeling. We work with 3d rapid prototyping since more than eighteen years now to control geometry and production. However we deeply believe in handcrafted models and the power of natural materials.
