Since 1980, Technical Glass Products (TGP) has been supplying the architectural and commercial building industry with innovative solutions for specialized glazing needs. TGP is the recognized leader in the fire-rated glass and framing field, working closely with design professionals, building code officials and manufacturers to identify glass and framing solutions for the wide-ranging requirements of today’s commercial buildings. The company is the sole North American supplier of the FireLite® family of products, innovative ceramic glazing that blocks fire and smoke and can meet impact resistance requirements. Other TGP products include Pilkington Pyrostop® glass, which is both fire- and impact-resistant and blocks heat transfer, and the Fireframes® family of fire-rated framing products. TGP also supplies non-fire-rated architectural glass and framing, including the Pilkington Profilit™ channel glass system suitable for dramatic lighting effects and daylighting, the line of strong, narrow-profile SteelBuilt Curtainwall® Systems and SteelBuilt Window and Door® Systems, X-ray shielding glass and decorative glass. To support architects’ continuing education needs, TGP offers in-person and online courses registered with the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
